Jigsaw Nursery is a nursery in Al Manhal, Abu Dhabi offering the International Baccalaureate, EYFS curricula. The nursery welcomes children aged 45 days to 5 years Old. Jigsaw Nursery is a leading British Nursery in the heart of the city, conveniently located near the corner of Delma St and Karama St, in Abu Dhabi. Jigsaw Nursery follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and base the nursery's topics and activities, where possible, on children’s own experiences encouraging them towards independent thinking and an appreciation of diversity. Jigsaw Nursery focuses on the development of the whole child with the aim of producing confident, creative and socially capable children who are able to follow routines and guidelines at the same time as making choices for themselves. the nursery invites you to come and view the nursery's wonderful facilities and meet the nursery's fantastic teaching team.

the nursery plans an exciting and challenging curriculum based on the nursery's observation of a child’s needs, interests and stages of development across the seven areas of learning to enable the child to achieve and exceed the early learning goals. All the seven areas of learning and development are important. The three prime areas are: Communication is at the heart of developing young children's learning. At Jigsaw Nursery, children experience a rich language environment to develop their confidence and skills in expressing themselves. Children are given opportunities daily to listen and speak in a range of situations and develop key skills for learning at school. This takes place during circle time each morning and everyday activities. At Jigsaw, Jigsaw Nursery follows the Jolly phonics program, and children are taught one letter a week, reviewed weekly by the class teacher and shared with parents in order to extend the child's learning.

Jigsaw Nursery helps children to make sense of their physical world and community by providing opportunities to explore, observe and find out about people, places, and the environment around them. Children have a natural interest in finding out how things work and creating their own models. At Jigsaw Nursery children can explore sand and water, use the watering cans to water the vegetables in the nursery's vegetable patch and make mud pies in the nursery's mud kitchen. Children also have the opportunity to go on supervised Educational trips outside of the Nursery which Jigsaw Nursery link in with the nursery's monthly topic to further extend the children's learning.

As a nursery Jigsaw Nursery is committed to the integration of children with additional needs and welcome them into the nursery's nursery environment. As part of this integration, Jigsaw Nursery also ensure children themselves practice inclusion by treating one another with respect and by participating in activities together.
