Kipina kids, Al Bateen is a nursery in Al Manhal, Abu Dhabi offering the Iranian, Finnish Curriculum curricula. The nursery welcomes children aged 2 Months to 4 Years Old. Kipina takes the best of what Finland has to offer, and improves it even further with up-to-the-minute teaching practices based on scientific evidence that learning begins at birth. And children learn best through play. But not unguided play. Play that is structured towards learning outcomes to make it easy for kids to transition into K1 and K2. the nursery dos not drum the kids into silence, require them to march and sit in rows, wear uniforms, teach them to keep their eyes on the teachers at all times, or require that they are college-and-career-ready from the age of two. This approach helps children to learn more, at a faster pace. Learning is also scaffolded, so the teacher does not move on until the child fully comprehends what is being taught.

Kipinä follows a balanced child-centered and teacher-directed framework. Using guided learning and skilful instruction similar to the core philosophy of the Finland program, Kipinä has added the teaching methodology of focused instruction, which accelerates the learning process so children learn at a faster pace. Research shows it brings more value to both the learning and teaching process.

Kipinä practitioners are engaged and interactive with children, guiding them towards specific learning outcomes across all of the age groups following the Gradual Release of Responsibility model.
