Learning Spaces Nursery

Learning Spaces Nursery is a nursery in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi offering the International Baccalaureate, EYFS curricula. The educators working at the Nursery have been carefully selected for their passion and dedication to ensuring the rights of your child are at the heart of everything they do. The practitioners have many years of experience working with young children and collaborate with parents to enhance all children’s individual learning and development.

The Reggio Emilia Approach has a firmly established worldwide reputation for forward thinking and excellence in its approach to Early Childhood Education. This Educational model is the result of a long and gradual process that continues to evolve and was developed by Loris Malaquzzi, who was a teacher himself, and the parents of the villages around Reggio Emilia in Italy after World War-II. This led to the creation of a program based on the principles of respect, responsibility, and community through exploration and discovery in a supportive and enriching environment based on the interests of the children through a self-guided curriculum.

the nursery uses the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to ensure that when the nursery's parents choose Learning Spaces Nursery, they can be confident that their child will receive a quality experience that supports their development and learning.

At Learning Spaces Nursery Learning Spaces Nursery provides an inspiring, exciting and safe environment for children, parents and staff to collaborate together. Teachers and children co-construct their learning experience through observation, intentional planning, creative environments, and active exploration of materials. Learning Spaces Nursery's goal is for each child to emerge as socially capable, creative citizens who love learning. Parental involvement, both inside and outside the classroom, creates a strong sense of community that enriches the nursery. Learning Spaces Nursery has always been and will always remain a responsive and flexible place, open to innovations in Early Childhood Education and to the evolving needs of the Khalifa City community. the nursery stronglys believe in putting the rights of every child at the heart of what Learning Spaces Nursery does.
