Welcome to the Raffles Early Childhood family! We are excited to embark on this journey with you and your child. The experiences during the early years, from birth to age five, are vital for laying the groundwork for lifelong learning. Our highly qualified and experienced team work to understand the needs of your child and ensure that these are supported and challenged. Every day our environments will evolve to ensure that your child is cared for in a warm and welcoming space that encourages creativity, curiosity, inquisitiveness and the desire to learn – but where safety and security is key!

Our EYFS curriculum has been developed by our team of educators, to ensure that learning through play and hands on learning underpins and supports all areas of learning and development. We also ensure that it reflects the needs of the children, our local culture and international best practices.

Raffles Early Childhood Centre, Lakes 2 is located in the heart of the Lakes Community, near Meadows, Emirates Hills, Springs, Dubai Media City, Al Barsha, and Barsha Heights. At Raffles ECC, we provide high-quality early years education for children aged 45 days to 6 years, centered around play-based learning. Our welcoming environments reflect our multicultural community, ensuring comfort and happiness for every child in our care.

We follow the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, which sets standards for learning, development, and care. The EYFS promotes teaching and learning to prepare children for school and supports their development into lifelong learners. Our learning spaces extend beyond the classroom to safe, spacious outdoor areas where children can explore and interact. Our team's skills, enthusiasm, training in the revised EYFS curriculum, shared values, and collaborative spirit are key to our success. We work side by side with families in a welcoming, inspiring, and warm environment.

Our curriculum is progressive and is tailored to the different ages and stages – ensuring that there is an element of challenge in a secure and supportive manner. Our aim is to encourage children to be curious, to make choices, show resilience, enjoy creativity, problem solving and have a love of learning that lasts a lifetime! Our team co-creates the learning with the children, focusing on the individual needs and interests of each child.

Our curriculum is planned with progression to our schools in mind. As part of Innoventures Education, all children are given priority admission to one of our five multi-curriculum schools, which ensures there is progression for all within the Innoventures Family.
